History of the pub

There has been a pub on this site for more than a century.  And the connection to its namesake fairly interesting insofar how the site became a tavern in the first place, in the late 19th century.

We are putting together a timeline of the history of the pub and will be publishing our findings here in due course, but in the meantime, we have found some photographs of the pub over the years since the early part of the 21st century, which are below.
